In downtown Detroit for the fireworks, and I saw something quite unexpected in these parts: an unmarked Hyundai police car (hard to tell but it had the flashing lights on). Amusingly, someone behind me who noticed me taking a picture said “look at that blacked out Lincoln police car”.

We’ve got a few sneaky ones here including a silver V6 Camaro, a MINI Cooper, Toyota Highlander with a stick figure family, a riced out Civic, and a few Silverados.
They are kinda evil now .. I’d never guess a Sonata Hybrid

Probably either an off duty officer or a contracted security guard.
I’ve seen a Jeep Grand Cherokee, Mazda 6 and a Camry all being used by off duty officers to work security detail at public events and movie theaters.

One of the federal agencies with a branch in the area (not sure which) has an unmarked beige Camry. Saw it charging down the street one day with blues and twos.
